The Taphros publishing house has been active in Sardinia for more than 20 years. It takes its name from the Greek term used by Pliny the Elder to indicate the Strait of Bonifacio. Its focus is on overcoming the dividing lines that separate both people and ideas. Its catalogue contains more than 250 titles, across 8 different series, and is concerned above all with recorded history, popular traditions, photography, cartoons, fiction and the environment, with an entire series given over to children’s books.
